What the extension reads

On a supported job page, the extension reads the employer name, the job title, the job location and the employer web address from the page that is open. It does not read other websites, your messages or your profile.

The extension does not click, type or send anything on the job site for you.

Where the check runs

The check runs inside your browser. The extension compares the employer name with a list of employers that is stored in the browser. The employer name and the page address do not leave your browser.

At most once a day, the extension downloads a newer employer list from this website. This request contains no data about the pages you visit. The website server receives the usual request data, such as your IP address.

Usage statistics

The extension sends usage events to the analytics server of [Publisher legal name]. Examples are that the popup opened or that a check showed a result.

An event contains a random install ID, a session ID, the extension version and the event name. Some events also contain the job site (LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor) and the result of the check. An event contains no page address and no employer name.

This website

This website counts page views and clicks with the analytics server of [Publisher legal name]. An event contains the address of the page on this website and a random visitor ID that a cookie keeps.

The website does not receive data from the extension about the job pages you open.
